Internship Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Video Production & Marketing Intern to assist in the creation of training and marketing videos for internal and external audiences. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in marketing, broadcasting, film/media production, or communications who want hands-on experience in video production, storytelling, and branded content.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in filming, editing, and producing training videos for field technicians and internal teams.
- Support marketing content creation for social media, the company website, and email campaigns.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to script, storyboard, and film short-format instructional content.
- Edit video content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar software.
- Organize and maintain media assets, b-roll footage, and versioned edits.
- Ensure videos align with Cable East’s brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Provide ideas for engaging content and help identify opportunities to repurpose existing footage.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a college program focused on marketing, broadcasting, communications, media production, or a related field.
- Strong interest in visual storytelling, instructional design, and marketing strategy.
- Familiarity with video editing software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable being behind or in front of a camera as needed.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus)
- Experience with animation or motion graphics (After Effects or Canva).
- Knowledge of social media video formats.
- Previous coursework or projects involving video production or digital marketing.
