We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record and experience operating heavy vehicles in construction settings. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Operation:
   • Safely operate commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and other construction equipment, to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
   • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
   • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of vehicles and report any maintenance issues promptly.
2. Material Transport:
   • Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment onto vehicles, ensuring proper distribution and securing of loads.
   • Transport materials to designated job sites in a timely and efficient manner, following predetermined routes and schedules.
3. Safety Compliance:
   • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
   • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in and around vehicles and job sites.
   • Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near misses to the appropriate personnel immediately.
4. Communication and Coordination:
   • Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other team members to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
   • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
5. Vehicle Maintenance:
   • Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as checking fluid levels, inspecting tires, and cleaning interiors.
   • Report any mechanical issues or concerns to the maintenance department for prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a CDL driver, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial vehicles.
• Ability to operate various types of construction equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
